Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled BI & Analytics Expert Microsoft Fabric to design, build, and deliver scalable analytics solutions for enterprise clients. This role focuses on creating high-performance semantic models, enabling self-service analytics, and leveraging Microsoft Fabric capabilities to deliver data-driven insights.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and leadership teams to translate complex data into meaningful, actionable dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI semantic models using advanced DAX.

- Implement and optimize Direct Lake connectivity for Fabric Lakehouse-based analytics.

- Build and manage reports using Fabric Warehouse SQL analytics endpoints.

- Enable self-service analytics through governed datasets and reusable models.

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) to ensure data compliance.

- Develop paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder where required.

- Optimize report performance using composite models, aggregations, and best practices.

- Leverage Power BI Copilot and natural language Q&A for enhanced user experience.

- Manage deployment pipelines, workspace governance, and version control.

- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, explain insights, and drive adoption.

Technical Skills Required:

(Candidate should have strong expertise in 68 of the following)

- Power BI semantic models (datasets) and advanced DAX measures

- Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse & Direct Lake mode

- Fabric Warehouse SQL analytics endpoints

- Power BI Copilot and Natural Language Q&A

- Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS)

- Paginated reports & Power BI Report Builder

- Composite models and aggregation strategies

- Deployment pipelines, workspace governance, and tenant best practices

Experience & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in BI / Analytics

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Power BI

- Delivered 2+ enterprise-grade semantic models or large-scale Power BI deployments

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client-facing roles

Nice to Have :

- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise data platforms

- Exposure to Azure data services or data engineering concepts

- Understanding of data governance and security frameworks
