Bazaarvoice - DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

How You'll Make An Impact :

- Provide reliable, robust, and fast CI/CD pipelines.

- Propose new technologies or approaches that can improve our infrastructure Create tooling to improve the developer experience.

- Develop and test disaster recovery scenarios.

- Continuously monitor and improve our infrastructure for performance, stability, scalability, and security.

- Build automation systems following code pattern best practices.

- Working closely with developers to improve developer workflows.

- Build and improve automation for building new environments.

- Implement security best practices, from OS-level patches to internal processes.

- Participate in the on-call engineering rotation.

The Must Have Skills That Matter :

- 10 to 15 years experience in a software engineering or DevOps role.

- 8+ years of experience supporting high-availability systems on AWS.

- Experience building or supporting services in a service-oriented architecture.

- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g CloudFormation, Terraform, helm, etc).

- Experience creating and managing a CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Github Actions).

- Hands-on experience at least in one scripting language Java, Python or Golang.

- Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies.

- Fluent in understanding and applying common security principles.

- Experience with test automation.

- Expert-level proficiency with version control (Git).
