About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced BASE24 EPS Developer/Support Engineer to join our Payments Technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ACI BASE24 EPS, electronic payment systems, and payment transaction processing. This role involves developing, supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing mission-critical payment applications that power ATM, POS, and card transaction systems.

Note: Only candidates with hands-on ACI BASE24 EPS experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities :

1. BASE24 EPS Development :

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications built on the ACI BASE24 EPS platform.

- Implement new payment features and customize existing payment solutions based on business requirements.

- Support production environments and ensure high system availability.

2. Payment Systems Management :

- Work on enterprise payment processing solutions covering:

1. ATM Transactions

2. POS Transactions

3. Card Issuing

4. Card Acquiring

5. Payment Switching

6. Card Management Systems

- Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance transaction processing.

3. Transaction Processing :

- Develop and support applications using ISO 8583 messaging standards.

- Analyze payment transaction flows and resolve processing issues efficiently.

- Ensure payment systems comply with industry standards and operational requirements.

4. Application Support :

- Investigate production incidents and perform root cause analysis.

- Troubleshoot application issues, identify defects, and implement permanent fixes.

- Monitor system performance and recommend optimization opportunities.

5. Performance Optimization :

- Tune applications to improve transaction throughput and response times.

- Support system upgrades, patches, and performance enhancements.

- Ensure stable and resilient payment services.

6. Collaboration :

- Work closely with business teams, payment operations, infrastructure, and support teams.

- Participate in deployment planning, testing, and release activities.

- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with ACI BASE24 EPS development and production support.

- Good understanding of Electronic Payment Systems (EPS) architecture.

- Experience with:

1. ATM Systems

2. POS Systems

3. Card Issuing

4. Card Acquiring

5. Payment Switching

6. Card Management

- Strong knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging standards.

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C, C++, Java.

- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

- Good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and application performance tuning skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience supporting high-volume payment transaction systems.

- Knowledge of payment industry standards and banking processes.

- Exposure to production support and incident management.

- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
