What You'll Be Working On :

- Designing, developing, and optimizing robust backend systems using C/C++/PERL and other languages, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and performance.

- Guiding and mentoring junior developers, enforcing best practices, and promoting technical excellence within the team.

- Collaborating with product managers, customers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into cutting-edge solutions.

- Conducting thorough code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to high coding standards.

- Staying ahead of industry trends and technologies, influencing architectural decisions and technology roadmaps.

- Contributing to a supportive and inclusive team culture that values diverse perspectives and fosters creativity.

- Integrating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities into our systems to drive automation, intelligent threat detection, and advanced product features.

What You Bring to the Role :

- Experience : 6 to 8+ years in software development in PERL/C/C++

- Database Proficiency : Strong knowledge of SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL, including optimization techniques.

- DevOps and CI/CD : Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and version control systems like GitHub.

- Debugging Skills : Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting using tools such as GDB, and Strace.

- System Knowledge : Familiarity with Linux operating systems and networking protocols (e.g., SMTP, DNS, TLS).

- Development Practices : Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

Additional Skills :

- Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX) is advantageous.

- Experience in email security, cloud-connected appliances, or network security is beneficial.

- Familiarity with scripting languages like Perl, Python, or Bash.

- Familiarity with Golang is a plus

- AI Integration : Proven experience integrating AI/ML technologies into production environments, including working with LLMs, crafting effective prompts, or utilizing AI APIs to solve complex engineering problems
