Role Overview :

We are looking for a Tech Lead who can architect, lead, and deliver scalable systems while coordinating cross-functional teams and driving product success end-to-end. You'll bridge frontend and backend efforts, guide junior developers, manage technical expectations with clients, and help evolve our AI-native platform. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical depth, communication skills, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-throughput systems using Python (FastAPI)

- Architect and scale infrastructure on AWS or Azure, ensuring resilience, security, and performance

- Guide integration of LLM pipelines using LangChain, LlamaIndex, and similar tools

- Coordinate effectively between backend, frontend, AI, and product teams

- Contribute to and understand both backend and frontend architecture to ensure cohesive delivery

- Communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders, helping set and manage expectations

- Own project execution end-to-end-from requirements and planning to delivery and iteration

- Mentor junior developers, conduct reviews, and drive engineering best practices

- Foster a high-ownership culture of learning, experimentation, and delivery

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 7+ years of backend development experience in Python, preferably with FastAPI

- Strong CS fundamentals-data structures, algorithms, system design, design patterns

- Proven experience architecting and scaling production-grade systems (able to explain trade-offs in depth) Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for production-grade deployments, observability, and performance tuning

- Experience building AI-native backends with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex

- Exposure to vector databases, embedding pipelines, or retrieval-based architectures

- Demonstrated ability to lead projects end-to-end, from inception to launch

- Ability to coordinate between teams and drive clarity across backend and frontend workflows

- Strong communication skills and experience in client interaction and expectation setting

- Experience mentoring engineers, fostering collaboration, and promoting team health

- Startup experience or background in high-velocity, ownership-driven teams

- Experience with Agent frameworks such as Autogen, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or AutoChain
