Backend Engineer - Java/Spring Boot

We are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Backend Engineer with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud-based environments, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative development environment.

The role involves building robust backend services, integrating with various systems, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices for scalable enterprise applications.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best coding practices and design patterns.

- Implement scalable and secure architecture for backend systems.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality.

- Integrate backend services with databases, third-party APIs, and cloud services.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, testing, and deployment processes.

- Contribute to technical documentation, system design discussions, and architecture decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 to 8 years of professional experience in Java backend development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture.

- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

- Proficiency in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA.

- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

- Experience with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with Git and version control systems.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Knowledge of API gateways, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.

- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
