Backend Engineer

Description :

- Hands-on software development using Spring Boot, Java, Python, JavaScript and Java/J2EE technologies.

- Develop scalable and efficient full-stack applications, including both front-end and back-end components.

- Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate data acquisition, integration, and communication between systems.

- Implement complex architectural solutions using AWS design principles, best practices, and industry standards.

- Develop software applications that are highly distributed and scalable to handle large volumes of transactions.

- Responsible for code quality via test coverage and test cases.

- Improve and automate processes, applications, and APIs for performance and scalability in both on-premises and cloud environments.

- Provide production support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices in full-stack development, API development, data analysis, and cloud technologies.

What you know :

- 7+ years of overall experience in software engineering roles, preferably in cloud services.

- Exposure to AI tools (like CoPilot, Code Whisperer, Cursor, etc.)

- Proficient in scripting languages such as Shell scripting and Python.

- Experience with the AWS cloud platform and its services, such as AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, EC2, and Lambda.

- SQL proficiency with relational databases (e.g., DB2 on AIX) and AWS databases (e.g., Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL).
