Job Overview :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated AWS Backend Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our cloud engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building backend services on AWS using serverless and microservices architectures, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using AWS cloud technologies.

- Build RESTful APIs and event-driven services using AWS services.

Cloud Integration :

- Develop and deploy solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and other core AWS services.

Security and Compliance :

- Implement security best practices such as IAM roles and policies, encryption, and secure data handling.

Serverless & Microservices :

- Build and maintain serverless and microservices-based architectures for high scalability and availability.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with frontend developers, QA, product managers, and solution architects to deliver high-quality solutions.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Identify and resolve production issues related to AWS infrastructure and backend services.

Proof-of-Concept (PoC) :

- Participate in PoCs to evaluate new AWS services and backend frameworks.

Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- 3- 5 years of experience in backend or cloud application development.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and IAM.

- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python.

- Experience with AWS CDK / Infrastructure as Code.

- Good understanding of serverless and microservices architectures.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools.

- Working knowledge of security best practices in AWS.

Problem Solving :

- Strong analytical and debugging skills.

Communication :

- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

- AWS Associate-level certification is a plus.

- Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) is beneficial.

- Exposure to system design and scalable backend architectures.
