Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our healthcare technology team, working on PV (Pharmacovigilance) and Non-PV healthcare systems. The ideal candidate should have strong foundations in computer science concepts, algorithm design, and backend architecture, with hands-on experience in Node.js, TypeScript, and microservices-based applications.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that process complex healthcare data, documents, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using Node.js, Express, and TypeScript

- Work on complex and generic algorithm design, ensuring efficiency, reusability, and performance

- Implement advanced logic involving recursion, backtracking, tree traversal, and binary structures

- Develop and maintain microservices-based backend architecture for healthcare applications

- Build and manage Database Access Layers (DAL) using SQL databases such as Oracle or MySQL

- Handle and process multiple data and document formats including XML, JSON, PDF, DOCX, and XLSX

- Parse, validate, and transform XML documents and other structured/unstructured healthcare data

- Understand and work with PDF formats, including extraction and processing where required

- Ensure proper implementation of synchronous and asynchronous programming patterns

- Optimize application performance for production-scale systems

- Follow best practices for code quality, security, logging, and error handling

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, product, and DevOps

- Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience in Node.js and Express for backend API development
