Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in server-side development, database management, and integration technologies, with the ability to collaborate across diverse engineering and product teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and system components.

- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.

- Integrate internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other communication protocols.

- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

- Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

- Manage databases (SQL/NoSQL), optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.

- Implement authentication, authorization, caching, and other core backend functionalities.

- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.

- Ensure all deliverables meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in backend development using one or more languages (e.g., Java, Node.js, Python, .NET, Go, etc.).

- Strong understanding of backend architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Proficiency with RESTful API development and integration technologies (REST, SOAP, message queues, etc.).

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional) :

- Experience with microservice architecture and event-driven systems.

- Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth, JWT, API security).

- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
