Role Overview :

As a Backend Developer at MimioTech, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend services that drive our financial platforms. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our systems, ensuring seamless operations for our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security to meet evolving business requirements.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and external systems, ensuring data integrity and security.

- Optimize database performance using Hibernate and Redis to support high transaction volumes and low latency requirements.

- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes and Docker to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficient resource utilization.

- Implement and maintain message queues using Apache Kafka to enable asynchronous communication between services and ensure data consistency.

- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate build, test, and deployment processes, improving efficiency and reducing time to market.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop scalable and resilient microservices architectures using Java and Spring Boot.

- Proven expertise in working with relational databases and ORM frameworks like Hibernate, optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity.

- Experience in deploying and managing applications on containerization platforms like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Strong understanding of messaging queues like Apache Kafka and their application in distributed systems.

- Proficiency in implementing security best practices using Spring Security to protect APIs and data.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5- 7 years of relevant experience.
