Job Overview :

We are looking for a Backend & AI Engineer with strong experience in Python, FastAPI, and AI/ML systems.

This role focuses on building scalable backend services, integrating AI/ML models, and running production-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop backend services using Python and FastAPI

- Build and integrate AI/ML models into backend systems

- Deploy and operate AI-enabled services in production

- Design and maintain REST APIs

- Ensure backend systems are secure, scalable, and reliable

- Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL)

- Manage Dockized services and Kubernetes deployments

- Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

- Collaborate with AI, product, and engineering teams

- Take ownership of backend and AI service quality

Must-Have Skills :

Backend Engineering :

- Strong experience with Python : FastAPI

- REST API development

- Database experience : PostgreSQL / MySQL / NoSQL

- Experience writing production-grade backend code

- Node.js (working knowledge)

AI / Machine Learning :

- Experience working with AI / ML models

- ML frameworks : Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

- Model deployment and inference APIs

- Understanding of model performance and monitoring

Cloud & Platform :

- Docker

- Kubernetes

- Cloud platforms : AWS and/or Azure

- Experience deploying services to cloud environments

DevOps & Operations :

- CI/CD pipelines

- Linux fundamentals

- Monitoring, logging, and alerting

- Production troubleshooting

Security :

- Secure API and data handling

- Authentication and authorization (tokens, roles, IAM)

- Basic application and infrastructure security practices

Nice to Have :

- MLOps exposure (model deployment, versioning, monitoring)

- Message queues or asynchronous processing

- Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

- Automation and scripting skills
