Role Overview :

As a Backend AEM Developer at Nazztec, you will be a key contributor to our dynamic development team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend components of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) based solutions.

You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant applications that meet our clients' business needs. Your work will directly impact the user experience and contribute to the success of our clients' digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain backend components and services for AEM-based web applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate AEM with other systems and services, enabling seamless data exchange.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend logic with user interfaces, delivering a cohesive user experience.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and development best practices, ensuring maintainability and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AEM backend components, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation.

- Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline, automating build, test, and deployment processes.

- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated proficiency in Java and J2EE development, building robust and scalable backend applications.

- Strong understanding of AEM architecture and experience developing custom components, templates, and services using Sling API and OSGi frameworks.

- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, enabling seamless integration with external systems.

- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with branching strategies and collaborative development workflows.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, streamlining the software development lifecycle.

- Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3-6 years of relevant experience.
