We are looking for a Data Engineer who can build and maintain scalable data systems. You will work closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure reliable data pipelines and enable data-driven decision-making across Bachatt.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT)

- Design and manage data warehouses / data lakes

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability

- Work with product & analytics teams to enable real-time and batch data processing

- Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party tools)

- Optimize database performance and query efficiency

- Implement data security and governance best practices

- Support dashboards, reporting, and analytics use cases

Core Skills :

- Strong SQL skills (must-have)

- Experience with Python / Scala

- Hands-on with ETL tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.)

- Experience with data warehousing (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)

- Understanding of data modeling (star/snowflake schema)

- Experience with APIs and data integration

Good to Have :

- Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Spark)

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

- Understanding of product metrics & analytics

- Experience working in a startup or product-based company
