Job Title : Azure Security Engineer.

Job Type : Full-Time.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Azure Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security controls across Microsoft Azure environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Azure security services, cloud governance, threat protection, and incident response, ensuring secure and compliant cloud infrastructure for enterprise workloads.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage security solutions within Microsoft Azure environments.

- Configure and monitor Azure security services including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel (SIEM), Azure Policy, and Azure Monitor.

- Implement identity and access management using Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA.

- Secure Azure networking components such as NSGs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, and WAF.

- Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis for Azure workloads.

- Monitor, investigate, and respond to cloud security incidents and alerts.

- Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, and organizational policies.

- Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and SOC teams to embed security best practices.

- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.

- Stay updated with emerging Azure security features, threats, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience securing Microsoft Azure environments.

- Experience with Azure Sentinel (SIEM), Defender for Cloud, and log analytics.

- Solid understanding of Azure AD (Entra ID), identity governance, RBAC, and Conditional Access.

- Knowledge of Azure networking and security controls (NSGs, Firewall, WAF).

- Experience with vulnerability management and security posture management.

- Understanding of cloud security concepts, zero trust architecture, and shared responsibility model.

- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Azure security certifications such as :

1. AZ-500 : Microsoft Azure Security Technologies.

2. Microsoft Certified : Security Operations Analyst (SC-200).

- Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI).

- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security.

Experience : 4-6 years of experience in cloud security, Azure security, or cybersecurity roles.
