Description : Azure AI Foundry SME (4-8 yrs)

Role Summary : Implement an Agentic AI platform using Azure AI Foundry ecosystem, enabling model provisioning, orchestration, governance & enterprise deployment patterns.

Responsibilities :

- Setup & configure Azure AI Foundry workspaces

- Deploy Azure OpenAI, Azure Search, Vector DBs, Purview

- Manage models, endpoints, versioning, security, cost controls

- Support agent deployment pipelines & MCP registry integration

- Assist in RAG optimization, re-rankers, prompt flows

- Automate the Agentic AI platforms scaffolding

Azure AI Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Azure AI Owner : This role has full access to manage AI projects and accounts, including creating Foundry resources, deploying models, building agents, and running evaluations in Foundry.

2. Azure AI Project Manager : This role allows users to perform management actions on Foundry projects, build and develop with projects, and conditionally assign the Azure AI User role to other user principals.

3. Azure AI User : This role grants reader access to AI projects, reader access to AI accounts, and data actions for an AI project. It's the least-privilege access role in Foundry, suitable for developers who build agents in a project.

4. Azure AI Account Owner : This role grants full access to manage AI projects and accounts and lets users conditionally assign the Azure AI User role to other user principals.

5. Cognitive Services OpenAI User : This role allows users to view resources in the Azure portal, use the Chat, Completions, and DALL-E playground experiences, and create customized content filters.

6. Cognitive Services OpenAI Contributor : This role has all the permissions of Cognitive Services OpenAI User and can perform additional tasks like creating custom fine-tuned models, uploading datasets for fine-tuning, and viewing stored completions data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Model Deployment : Deploying and managing models in Azure AI Foundry.

- Project Management : Creating and managing projects, assigning roles, and controlling access.

- Development : Building agents, running evaluations, and developing with projects.

- Data Management : Uploading datasets, creating custom fine-tuned models, and managing data sources.

Role Assignments :

- Assigning roles like Azure AI User, Azure AI Project Manager, and Azure AI Account Owner to users and groups.

- Using conditional delegation to assign roles and manage access.
