Axiom Software Solutions - OpenText ECM Lead

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced OpenText Lead with deep expertise in designing, deploying, and optimizing OpenText platforms across AWS Cloud and on-premise environments.

The candidate will lead end-to-end platform implementation, upgrades, migrations, and performance engineering for enterprise-scale Content Management solutions.

This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on delivery capability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, install, configure, and optimize OpenText Exstream Cloud, OpenText Content Server, Extended ECM, OTDS, Search/Solr, Rendering/Viewers, and related components.

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available architectures on AWS (VPC, EC2, RDS, ALB, S3/EFS, IAM/KMS) and on-prem infrastructures.

- Lead upgrades, patching, environment refreshes, transport deployments, and lifecycle

management across Dev/QA/Prod environments.

- Establish CI/CD and automation standards using Jenkins, Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible, and version-controlled configuration patterns.

- Drive system performance improvements including DB tuning, JVM optimization, index tuning, storage optimization, and workload scaling.

- Implement security best practices including SSO (SAML/OIDC), OTDS integration, encryption, WAF, secrets management, and audit compliance.

- Develop DR/BCP strategies with cross-region replication, backups, failover procedures, and restore validation.

- Troubleshoot complex environment issues across application, infrastructure, and network layers and coordinate with vendor support if required.

- Produce architecture documentation including HLD, LLD, runbooks, SOPs, and environment topology standards.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream Cloud, OpenText Content Server, xECM, OTDS, Brava!/Viewing, and distributed OpenText architectures.

- Proficiency in Linux administration, networking, SSL/TLS, certificates, DNS, firewall/security groups, and identity integrations.

- Experience with silent installs, clustered deployments, and enterprise-scale content storage strategies.

- Strong automation & scripting skills (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Bash, Python, PowerShell).

- Familiarity with modern integration patterns, APIs (REST/SOAP), event-driven architectures, and metadata/governance.

- Ability to diagnose performance issues across DB, storage, indexing, and application tiers.

- Some development experience (Java, JavaScript, or similar) preferred for customizations and API extensions.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with containers (ECS/EKS) or OpenText cloud-native patterns.

- Knowledge of AppWorks, Intelligent Capture, InfoArchive, Exstream, or other OpenText

modules.

- AWS or OpenText certifications (SA-Pro, OTCS/xECM certifications).

- Exposure to SAP BTP, Salesforce, or enterprise integration platforms.
