Position Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned SAP PS Functional Consultant with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience to join our enterprise applications team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP PS solutions that align with our business objectives. You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that project structures, costing, and resource management are optimized for maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- End-to-End Implementation : Lead and support various phases of the project lifecycle, including Requirement Gathering, Business Blueprinting, Realization (Configuration), Testing (UAT/SIT), Go-Live, and Hypercare.

- System Configuration : Expertly configure Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Network Activities, Milestones, and Cost Planning (Easy Cost Planning, Unit Costing).

- Integration Management : Ensure seamless integration between SAP PS and other modules, specifically FI/CO (for project accounting), MM (for procurement), SD (for billing), and PP/PM (for execution).

- Business Process Optimization : Analyze existing business processes and provide recommendations for automation or improvement using SAP best practices.

- Documentation : Create high-quality functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

- Support & Troubleshooting : Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for production issues, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 4+ years of functional experience in SAP Project System. At least 1-2 full life-cycle implementations are preferred.

- Ready for 6 to 12 months contract role in Mumbai

- Core Technical Knowledge :

1. Deep understanding of Project Structures (WBS, Networks, Activities).

2. Proficiency in Budgeting and Availability Control.

3. Experience with Revenue Recognition and Results Analysis (RA).

4. Knowledge of Capacity Planning and Resource Management within PS.

- S/4HANA Proficiency : Experience with SAP S/4HANA (specifically Fiori apps and simplified data models) is highly desirable.

- Analytical Mindset : Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Communication : Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and C-suite stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Certification in Project System.

- Experience in specific industries such as Construction, Engineering, or Professional Services.

- Familiarity with SAP PPM (Portfolio and Project Management) or CPM (Commercial Project Management).

- Basic understanding of ABAP (debugging skills) to assist in troubleshooting custom developments.
