Role Overview :
As an AWS Cloud Administrator at ORANGESIRI, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and optimization of our clients' AWS cloud environments.
You will collaborate closely with development teams, system architects, and security engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
Your work will directly impact the efficiency and scalability of our clients' businesses, enabling them to deliver exceptional services and achieve their strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, and other related services, to ensure optimal performance and availability for client applications.
- Implement and manage Amazon RDS databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient query performance for critical business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, working with development and operations teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and impact on users.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors for faster deployment cycles.
- Monitor cloud resource utilization and costs, providing recommendations for optimization and cost reduction to ensure efficient use of client budgets.
- Implement and maintain security best practices in the AWS environment, including IAM policies, security groups, and encryption, to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes, ensuring knowledge sharing and enabling efficient troubleshooting and support.
- Manage and deploy serverless functions using AWS Lambda and API Gateway to build scalable and cost-effective microservices.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to administer and manage AWS cloud environments, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and other core services.
- Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems, including shell scripting, system administration, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls, enabling effective troubleshooting and configuration of cloud networks.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
