We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Jira Administrator to manage, optimize, and enhance our Atlassian ecosystem.
Experience : 5-7 Years
Location : Mumbai
Shift Timing : 11 : 00 AM - 8 : 00 PM (Flexibility required with minimum 4 hours overlap with US EST time zone)
Role Overview :
The Jira Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting Jira Software and Jira Service Management environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in workflow customization, automation, security configurations, and plugin management, particularly in Cloud or Data Center environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and maintain Jira Software and Jira Service Management
- Design, customize, and optimize workflows based on business requirements
- Configure and manage permission schemes, roles, and security levels
- Implement automation rules and improve process efficiency
- Manage and support Atlassian Marketplace plugins (especially ScriptRunner)
- Monitor system performance and ensure platform stability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement enhancements
- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training when required
- Ensure compliance with governance and security best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in Jira Administration
- Strong hands-on expertise in Jira Software and Jira Service Management
- Experience in workflow customization and automation
- Deep understanding of permission schemes and security configuration
- Experience working with Atlassian Marketplace plugins (ScriptRunner preferred)
- Experience in Jira Cloud and/or Data Center environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Atlassian certifications (ACP) are a plus
- Experience integrating Jira with other enterprise tools
- Experience supporting global teams across time zones
