Role : Avaloq Developer

Exp level : 3+ years exp in Avaloq development and Hands-on experience with CGCalc and/or CGiX

Work location : Bangalore (3 days Work from office hybrid mode, every week)

Project Details :

It's going to be a transformation project involving integrating an investment company with the bank, which is quite a niche project.

Mandatory Skill :

- Mandatory : 3+ years of hands-on experience with Avaloq Banking Suite

- Mandatory : Hands-on experience with CGCalc and/or CGiX

- Strong understanding of investment tax principles, capital gains computation, and regulatory reporting requirements in the financial services sector

- Ability to assess legacy or complex system landscapes and convert analysis into clear, actionable recommendations

- Prior experience with system migration or transformation initiatives in financial services is a strong advantage

- Knowledge of Avaloq scripting (ALES) and related development tools is preferred

Responsibilities :

The successful candidate will conduct an initial assessment of the current tax calculation architecture within Avaloq, evaluating existing system design, data flows, and integration points.

Based on this assessment, they will produce a proposal identifying the optimal target system architecture going forward, weighing the trade-offs between continuing with the existing setup versus transitioning to an alternative.

The role also involves working closely with stakeholders across tax, technology, and operations to validate findings and ensure recommendations are commercially and technically sound, along with producing clear documentation suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
