Role Overview :

As an Automation Tester at HireHelmet, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to identify and resolve defects. Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will contribute to delivering high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers and drives business growth. Your work will directly impact the user experience and the overall success of our platform.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and other relevant tools to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality of the codebase.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support automated testing efforts.

- Perform mobile testing on both Android and iOS platforms to ensure consistent functionality across devices.

- Report and track defects using a bug tracking system, ensuring timely resolution and verification.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to design and implement robust automation frameworks using Selenium.

- Demonstrated expertise in mobile testing on both Android and iOS platforms.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
