Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Tester to join our team in Trivandrum/Thiruvananthapuram.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects, improve test coverage, and contribute to a culture of quality.

Your work will directly impact the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients, enhancing their user experience and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Design and implement API testing strategies using Rest Assured to validate the functionality and performance of APIs.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality code.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.

- Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure traceability and transparency.

- Work closely with product managers and business analysts to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.

- Proven ability to design and implement API testing strategies using Rest Assured.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve defects.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical information.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Adaptable to working in an on-site environment in Trivandrum/Thiruvananthapuram.
