Description :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch.

- Automate UI, API, and end-to-end test scenarios across web and mobile applications.

- Execute functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

- Develop automation scripts using Java or Python, following OOPS principles and best practices.

- Perform API testing and automation using tools like Postman and relevant frameworks.

- Optimize, debug, and enhance existing test suites to improve coverage and execution time.

- Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Track defects, test cases, and execution status using test management and tracking tools.

- Provide clear test reports, metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders.

- Continuously evaluate and adopt new testing tools, including AI-driven automation approaches.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.

- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks :

1. Selenium, Appium

2. TestNG / JUnit

3. Pytest

4. Cucumber

- Strong programming expertise in Java and/or Python.

- Solid understanding of OOPS concepts, design patterns, and automation best practices.

- Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman.

- Good knowledge of STLC, Agile methodologies, and various testing types (functional, performance, security).

- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools : Jira, ClickUp, TestRail, or similar.

- Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills (mandatory).

Good to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).

- Exposure to modern automation tools such as Playwright and Cypress.

- Knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.

- Working knowledge of Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

- Experience with Maestro Studio or Katalon Studio.

- Exposure to AI-driven or intelligent test automation solutions.
