Role : Automation Specialist - Java & Selenium Expert

Experience : 3 to 4 Years

Location : Navi Mumbai (Flexible to travel to Juinagar & Belapur as required)

Education : Any UP or PG

Interview mode : Face to Face only

Key Responsibilities :

1. Automation Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).

- Develop reusable and scalable automation frameworks that can be easily maintained and extended for multiple projects.

- Implement best coding practices, ensure code modularity, and follow object-oriented design principles in automation scripts.

2. Framework & Tools Management :

- Build and manage test automation frameworks using Maven for efficient build and dependency management.

- Manage source code repositories, branching, and merging strategies using Git/GitHub.

- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure high-quality automation code and adherence to team standards.

3. Continuous Integration & Deployment :

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.

- Configure automated test execution schedules and reporting within CI environments.

- Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration between automation and deployment pipelines

4. Test Maintenance & Reporting :

- Maintain and regularly update regression test suites to ensure consistent coverage across new releases.

- Analyze automation results, report defects, and provide insights into test coverage and quality metrics.

- Share Daily Status Reports (DSRs) highlighting progress, blockers, and test outcomes.

- Programming Language : Java

Nice to Have :

- Experience in API testing using Postman or RestAssured.

- Understanding of RESTful API architecture and request/response validation.

- Familiarity with performance or security testing tools.

- ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certification.
