Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 47 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Selenium, Java, Playwright, and API automation, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Playwright.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust automated testing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium (Java) and Playwright

- Perform API automation testing using REST-based services

- Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results

- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines

- Identify, log, and track defects through resolution

- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams for requirement analysis

- Ensure test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers

Mandatory Requirements :

- 4 7 years of overall experience in Automation Testing

- Strong hands-on experience in Selenium with Java

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Playwright

- Experience in API automation testing

- Strong understanding of automation frameworks (POM, BDD, Hybrid, etc.)

- Experience with version control systems (Git)

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology

- Knowledge of SQL for backend validation

- Experience with reporting tools (Allure, Extent Reports, etc.)

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Good communication and collaboration skills
