Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SFCC Automation Tester with strong expertise in testing eCommerce applications built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, test framework development, API testing, and validating end-to-end eCommerce workflows. The role requires close collaboration with development, business, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for SFCC-based eCommerce applications.

- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Automate UI and API test scenarios using industry-standard tools.

- Validate critical eCommerce functionalities including:

1. Product Catalog

2. Search & Browse

3. Cart & Checkout

4. Promotions & Coupons

5. Payments

6. Order Management

7. Customer Account

- Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks.

- Perform API testing and backend validations.

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with developers for resolution.

- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and QA estimation activities.

- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics.

Required Skills:

- 5 to 8 years of QA experience with strong automation testing expertise.

- Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/B2C Commerce) applications.

- Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.

- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or similar.

- Good understanding of eCommerce business processes and customer journeys.

- Experience in REST API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.

- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with SFCC Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).

- Experience testing OCAPI/SCAPI integrations.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Performance testing exposure using JMeter or similar tools.

- Knowledge of accessibility and cross-browser testing.

- Experience working with headless commerce implementations is a plus.

Good to Have:

- Salesforce Commerce Cloud domain experience.

- Experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.

- The QE has strong hands-on experience in automation testing with expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, Java, and TestNG. He has experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks and executing end-to-end test automation. Additionally, he has knowledge of non-functional testing areas, including SEO validation and Analytics testing etc.
