- Design, develop and maintain audio software applications, plugins, and tools

- Work closely with audio engineers to define requirements and specifications

- Write well-structured, testable code

- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility

- Integrate audio components into a fully functional software system

- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures

- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing audio systems

- Ensure audio software is updated with latest features and technologies

- Comply with project plans and industry standards

Required Skills :

1. Engineer with 8+ years of experience in embedded Linux driver/kernel development

2. Must have : Strong C programming skill with a good understanding of object-oriented design

3. Must have : Good understanding of Linux kernel and device driver development

4. Must have : Experience with Linux ALSA driver development

5. Must have : Experience with audio transmission protocols like I2S/TDM

6. Must have : Experience of working with audio codecs such as ADI/Cirrus Logic codecs and software tools like Audacity

7. Good to have : Experience with audio DSP firmware development

8. System knowledge, System Debugging, firmware debugging using JTAG
