Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

- Product Definition & Strategy : Coordinate and contribute significantly to the definition of assigned product areas, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and market needs.

- Backlog Management & Prioritization : Drive ongoing backlog allocations and prioritization of customer jobs to solve within your area of responsibility, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and strategic importance.

- Technical Requirements Articulation : Define epics and user stories, clearly articulating business requirements for the problems we are aiming to solve. This includes detailing functional and non-functional requirements, API specifications, data models, and integration points, as well as UX/CX/Support requirements.

- Performance Metrics & Analysis : Identify and track key metrics and success criteria to create transparency and visibility into program success and opportunities for improvement. Request and interpret analyses to inform backlog decisions and product evolution.

- Technical Liaison & Advocacy : Partner with Project Management leaders and engineering teams to be the voice of product decisions within the organization, ensuring technical alignment and understanding.

- Customer & Journey Ownership : Represent the customer for your assigned product area, demonstrating responsibility for the end-to-end customer journey and all touchpoints.

- Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Management : Serve as the Product Owner for scrum teams covering your assigned product area, facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring effective collaboration with engineering, QA, UX/UI, and DevOps teams.

- Portfolio & Product Strategy : Partner with Product Management leaders to drive overall portfolio and product strategy, contributing insights from your product area.

- Feature Rollout & Communication : Support feature rollouts through alpha, beta, and general availability by collaborating closely with customer-facing teams (Sales, Account Management, Product Marketing), analyzing feature impact, and preparing clear communications.

- Team Development : Contribute to the development of the overall product management team by lending your knowledge and experience to teach others what you know, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in Product Management.

- 7+ years of product management experience in a software development environment.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), including agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e., Jira, Confluence).

- Demonstrated ability to translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

- Familiarity with API design principles (RESTful, GraphQL) and understanding of backend systems, databases, and system architecture.

- Experience working with stakeholders in a business environment across cross-functional groups, including engineering, QA, and DevOps.

- Prior experience with healthcare/healthcare interoperability (integrations, HL7, FHIR, CCDs, Interface Engines like Mirth Connect, Rhapsody) is a significant plus.

- Demonstrated success at driving results in a fast-paced environment and managing simultaneously competing priorities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice-versa.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
