Role Overview :
We are seeking an Associate Lead Designer who can seamlessly balance creative vision with practical execution while guiding design teams to deliver exceptional outcomes. As an Associate Lead Designer, you will play a critical role in driving creative excellence, ensuring client satisfaction, and strengthening the organizations design reputation.
Your Purpose to the Team :
- Act as a bridge between senior leadership, design teams, and clients to ensure strategic and creative alignment.
- Drive high-quality design outcomes across multiple projects while maintaining consistency and brand standards.
- Collaborate closely with clients across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Translate business goals and user needs into impactful design solutions across web and mobile platforms.
- Balance creative ambition with technical feasibility, timelines, and project constraints.
- Mentor and upskill junior designers through structured guidance and feedback.
- Champion design thinking, continuous improvement, and innovative problem-solving practices.
What Youll Own & Drive :
- End-to-end design strategy and execution across assigned projects, aligned with client objectives and brand guidelines.
- Ongoing client collaboration from discovery, ideation, and design through final delivery.
- User research initiatives that inform design decisions, including information architecture, user journeys, user stories, and product design.
- Mentorship initiatives for junior designers, including performance feedback, skill development, and career growth planning.
- Cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of design with development and marketing teams.
- Quality assurance of all design deliverables to ensure high standards and on-time delivery.
- Adoption of design best practices, emerging trends, and innovative approaches that differentiate our work.
- Creation and maintenance of design systems and reusable components to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Team productivity and morale through effective resource planning, workflow optimization, and positive leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- 6+ years of professional design experience, with 2+ years in a team leadership or lead designer role.
- Proven ability to balance creative excellence with business objectives and technical constraints.
- Strong expertise in user research methodologies, accessibility standards, design systems, and prototyping tools.
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to confidently present and defend design concepts.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior designers and contributing to their professional growth.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
- Highly collaborative mindset that values diverse perspectives and promotes inclusive design practices.
