Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the US healthcare payer domain and the ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions. The role involves analyzing healthcare workflows, translating business needs into functional and technical specifications, supporting data and cloud migration initiatives, and collaborating with engineering, data, and Salesforce teams.

Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.

- Analyze healthcare payer workflows across claims, enrollment, eligibility, member, provider, and clinical data.

- Create BRDs, FRDs, process flows, use cases, data flow diagrams, and interface specifications.

- Analyze data using SQL to validate business rules, investigate discrepancies, and support data mapping and migration activities.

- Work with technical teams on API integrations, system interfaces, data exchange, and application enhancements.

- Support GCP migration and cloud modernization initiatives by documenting current-state and target-state processes, assessing dependencies, and defining migration requirements.

- Collaborate with Salesforce teams to document business processes, integration requirements, and system enhancements.

- Define functional and data validation rules, support test case preparation, and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Manage requirements traceability, change requests, defect triage, and impact analysis throughout the SDLC.

- Facilitate workshops and discussions with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and data engineering teams.

Requirements:

- 7 - 10 years of experience in business analysis, including substantial experience in the US healthcare payer domain.

- Strong understanding of claims processing, enrollment, eligibility, member and provider data, and related healthcare workflows.

- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with requirements management and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.

- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, system integrations, data mapping, and interface specifications.

- Familiarity with relational databases, data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data migration concepts.

- Exposure to GCP services and cloud migration concepts, including data movement, integration, and application modernization.

- Understanding of Salesforce capabilities, workflows, and integration patterns is an advantage.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, SDLC, SIT, UAT, defect management, and requirements traceability.

- Ability to interpret technical documentation, collaborate with engineering teams, and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
