We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in AS400 development, enhancement, modernization, and production support. The candidate should have hands-on experience with ILE COBOL, RPG/RPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL/CLLE, and SQL on DB2, along with exposure to integrations and legacy application modernization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support AS400 applications across development and production environments.

- Work extensively with ILE COBOL, RPG/RPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL/CLLE, and DB2 SQL.

- Develop and maintain integrations using SFTP, message-based interfaces, Web APIs, XML/JSON, and vendor platforms.

- Work with DB2, DBU, WRKQRY, Subfiles, Jobs/JDs, and other core AS400 development concepts.

- Perform SQL refactoring and gradual modernization of legacy applications while maintaining system stability.

- Conduct unit testing, defect resolution, debugging, and production support to ensure high-quality, defect-free releases.

- Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.

Required Skills:

- 8+ years of experience in AS400 development, enhancement, and support projects.

- Strong hands-on expertise in AS400, ILE COBOL, RPG/RPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL/CLLE, and DB2 SQL.

- Experience with AS400 interfaces, SFTP, Web APIs, XML/JSON, message-based integrations, and vendor platform integrations.

- Strong knowledge of DB2, DBU, WRKQRY, Subfiles, Jobs/JDs, and AS400 development concepts.

- Experience in legacy application modernization and SQL refactoring.

- Strong understanding of unit testing, production support, debugging, and release management.
