Artificial Intelligence Manager - Machine Learning

Position Title : AI Manager

Location : Chennai (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite)

Experience Required : 8 16 Years

- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of algorithm and ML engineers.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver scalable AI solutions.

- Oversee the development and optimization of ML/DL algorithms and their deployment at scale.

- Build and maintain infrastructure for high-performance computing and parallel processing.

- Ensure high algorithm performance and efficiency, aligned with business goals.

- Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, development workflows, and tool usage.

- Stay abreast of advancements in AI, ML, infrastructure, and algorithmic techniques, and apply them effectively.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree + 10 years of experience OR

- Masters degree + 8 years of experience OR

- PhD + 6 years of industry experience

- Minimum 3 years in a managerial role (team lead alone does not qualify)

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python, C++, or CUDA

- Strong background in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI, with at least 23 years in Computer Vision and Image Processing

- Solid knowledge of parallel programming, distributed systems, and high-performance computing

- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and optimizing ML/AI systems at scale

- Excellent communication, team collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

- Strong people leadership and team development track record

- Stable career history (minimum 2 years tenure in recent organizations)

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn

- Exposure to GPU architecture, Docker, Apptainer, or similar deployment tools

- Background in product development environments (especially hardware, embedded, semiconductors, or manufacturing domains)

- Educational background from Tier 1 institutions (e.g., IIT, NIT, IIIT, VIT or equivalent)

- High academic performance (e.g., CGPA 8+)

Nice to Have :

- Experience in semiconductor, hardware, or electrical manufacturing sectors

- International candidates willing to relocate to Chennai are welcome

- Willingness to work on-site 3 days a week
