You are the technical engine of the team. You use AI to build software at 10x speed - full applications, complex architectures, robust systems. You are an architect-level thinker who happens to use AI as your primary tool.

What You'll Actually Do Day-to-Day :

Build complete applications using AI :

- Use Claude Code and Cursor to generate entire features, APIs, database schemas, deployment pipelines, and test suites. Your value is in knowing what to build, how to structure it, and how to evaluate the AI's output.

Make architectural decisions :

- For each project, determine the right tech stack, system architecture, data model, hosting strategy, and deployment approach.

- You evaluate the customer's context and constraints and design the best system for the job.

Review and harden AI-generated code :

- AI produces code fast, but not always production-grade code.

- You review for security vulnerabilities, performance issues, edge cases, scalability concerns, and maintainability.

- You are the quality gate.

Improve AI agents continuously :

- When the AI produces bad output, you don't just fix the code you fix the instructions (CLAUDE.md files, prompt templates, context documents) so the AI does better next time.You measure success by how much LESS you need to intervene week over week.

Set up and manage infrastructure :

- Provision cloud environments (GCP, AWS), configure CI/CD pipelines(GitHub Actions), set up monitoring, manage deployments.

- There is no separate DevOps team - you are the DevOps.

Build across the full stack :

- Frontend (React, Next.js, etc.), backend (Node, Python, Go, etc.), databases (PostgreSQL, etc.), APIs, authentication, file storage, real-time features, mobile

- You are expected to work across all of these.

Solve hard technical problems :

- Legacy system integration, data migration, performance optimization, complex API orchestration, security hardening

- When the problem is genuinely difficult and the AI can't solve it alone, you're the one who figures it out.

Collaborate with the Engagement Lead :

- They own the customer relationship.

- You own the technical execution.

- You give them honest assessments of what's feasible, how long things will take, and where the risks are.
