About the Role :

We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Project Engineer to join our technology-driven engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software or infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the complete project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality output, timely delivery, and alignment with technical and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Project Management & Delivery :

- Lead and manage end-to-end execution of software or engineering projects with cross-functional teams.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, development teams, and clients to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.

- Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage risk, scope, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

- Ensure adherence to agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.

- Conduct sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and ensure optimal team velocity and deliverables.

2. Technical Leadership :

- Participate in solution architecture and system design discussions with engineering leads.

- Perform technical feasibility analysis and assist in the selection of appropriate technologies and tools.

- Work closely with development and QA teams to resolve roadblocks, perform code reviews, and enforce best practices.

- Guide junior engineers and act as a mentor to promote continuous learning within the team.

3. Stakeholder Communication :

- Act as a key point of contact for all project-related communications.

- Provide regular updates to clients and senior management through structured reporting and dashboards.

- Manage change requests and align project outcomes with evolving client/business needs.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance :

- Ensure the implementation of high standards in code quality, performance, security, and documentation.

- Conduct root cause analysis of project delays or quality issues and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure project compliance with relevant software standards, data protection policies, and industry regulations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience (2+ years) in project engineering or technical project management roles.

- Hands-on experience in modern software development technologies (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, Node.js) and frameworks.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Proficiency with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or Asana.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and testing frameworks.

- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

- PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification is a plus.
