Arrise Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will contribute to end-to-end infrastructure provisioning and automation, with a strong focus on VMware and data centre environments.

Your responsibilities will include configuration management, tool administration, production system support, application environment maintenance, observability, and the development of internal tools.

You will play a key role in driving operational excellence across all team initiatives.

Experience in AWS Cloud administration will be considered an added advantage.

Role Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Linux & Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise systems, networking, and virtualization environments.

This role involves ensuring secure, high-performing infrastructure through automation, monitoring, and best practices.

If you have strong Linux administration skills and a passion for building resilient systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian).

- Apply OS hardening, vulnerability patching, and security best practices.

- Perform system updates, kernel upgrades, and manage user accounts, permissions, and sudo policies.

- Configure and maintain storage solutions (LVM, RAID, ext4/XFS filesystems, NFS/SMB mounts).

- Implement and manage backup strategies (full, incremental, differential, snapshot-based).

- Configure and troubleshoot networking services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, SSH, FTP/SFTP), VLANs, bonding/teaming.

- Monitor and optimize system and network performance using Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana.

- Implement high-availability and failover solutions.

- Automate deployments and configurations using Bash/Python and Ansible.

- Manage and maintain VMware vSphere or equivalent virtualization environments.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Linux Administration : OS installation, hardening, patching, kernel upgrades, user management.

- Storage Management : LVM, RAID, filesystems (ext4, XFS), NFS/SMB mounts.

- Networking : DNS, DHCP, VLANs, bonding, troubleshooting with tcpdump, ip, netstat, ss, nmap, traceroute.

- Security : iptables, firewalld, SELinux, access controls.

- Monitoring : Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana.

- Automation : Bash, Python scripting, Ansible.

- Virtualization : VMware vSphere or equivalent.

- Backup Management : Full, incremental, differential, snapshot strategies.

Qualifications :

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with the following qualifications :

Education : B./B.Tech or an equivalent degree.

Experience : 6-9years in software engineering with a strong background in designing, developing, and operating robust, scalable data centre infrastructures
