Role Overview :

As the SAP GTS Technical Architect, you will be responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Your expertise will be crucial in translating business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations and optimizing international trade processes. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' global operations by leveraging your deep technical knowledge and architectural skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect SAP GTS solutions to meet client-specific business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory compliance.

- Develop and customize SAP GTS functionalities using ABAP, including implementing custom enhancements, user exits, and interfaces.

- Lead technical workshops and provide guidance to development teams on SAP GTS technical design and development standards.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and development plans.

- Configure and customize SAP GTS modules, including compliance management, customs management, and risk management.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP GTS implementations.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and test plans.

- Provide technical support and training to end-users and junior developers.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP GTS technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex SAP GTS solutions, including configuration, customization, and ABAP development.

- Proven expertise in SAP ABAP development, including experience with user exits, BAPIs, and enhancements.

- Strong understanding of global trade processes and regulations, including import/export compliance, customs management, and sanctions screening.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
