We are looking for an analytical, result-oriented data scientist to join our team to help us in building next- generation AI-centric products. In this role, you will analyze, and optimize algorithms and datasets for challenging real-world problems in the domain of image processing and computer vision.

You would be responsible for the implementation of algorithms that would include post processing algorithms, image interpretation, computer vision-related algorithms, and Optical Character Recognition. The candidate must have the competency to start from high-level requirements, design and detail algorithmic metrics, design and realize a new algorithm as well as implement an existing algorithm from literature in an efficient manner.

Following are the responsibilities :

- Analyze problems, design solutions, experiment with suitable network architectures and hyperparameters.

- Deploy solutions as inference APIs / pipelines, maintain and improve models.

- You will also share your project updates, timeline estimation and resource requirements with the Tech Lead to ensure on-time deliverables.

- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify Data sources and automate the injection process into the machine learning frameworks including pre-processing and required feature engineering.

- Pre-process structured and unstructured data.

- Document methods, procedures, and results.

- Work in an agile and fast-paced environment with members of the technology team for contributing across projects.

Job Requirements :

- Good command over Python, preferably in a Linux environment.

- Coding skills in one or more programming languages such as Scala, Java, C/C+/CUDA will be a bonus.

- Experience in creating and working with data structures/architectures

- Solid mathematical foundation of statistics and linear algebra.

- Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, Traditional Image Processing methods and Computer Vision using deep learning.

- Understanding of domains like Object detection / Recognition / Segmentation, Visual Similarity, Text Detection, OCR, Human / Face detection, Generative Models, Video Analytics.

- Experience in building datasets for computer vision tasks.

- Understanding of deep learning CV evaluation metrics including mAP, F_beta, PR curves, etc.

- Proficiency in frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, OpenCV, DLIB, etc

- Creativity and Problem-solving skills

- Good communication and collaboration skills.
