Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Application Packaging Expert with 8-13 years of experience to lead our application packaging and deployment strategies for Windows-based applications. You will possess strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and SCCM, and a deep understanding of modern device management. This role requires a proven track record in various packaging formats, PowerShell scripting, and the ability to drive cloud migration and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the application packaging and deployment strategy for Windows-based applications, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

- Provide critical support for post-migration issues, troubleshooting and resolving complex deployment challenges.

- Design, create, and maintain application packages using various formats including MSI, App-V, IntuneWin, and Winget.

- Develop robust automation scripts using PowerShell scripting for packaging, deployment, and configuration tasks.

- Leverage strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and SCCM for comprehensive device and application management.

- Fully utilize and optimize all features of Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and application management (MAM).

- Assess existing MDM solutions and recommend improvements or transition strategies.

- Apply deep understanding of Windows 10/11 device management, Group Policy, and Intune policies to ensure secure and compliant environments.

- Manage the deployment and policies configuration for Microsoft 365 Apps and Office Perpetual versions, including support for Microsoft Copilot.

- Ensure compliance with the Windows as a Service (WaaS) lifecycle and manage update strategies effectively.

- Utilize knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Compliance Policies, and Security Baselines for identity and access management.

- Conduct workshops to solicit business requirements and identify appropriate solution components for packaging and deployment initiatives.

- Drive automation efforts within application packaging and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.

- Document detailed Design, Configuration, and Instructions for Administrators managing environments and End Users for device enrollment and usage of Microsoft Intune.

- Work collaboratively with diverse teams and multiple stakeholders to achieve project goals.

- Plan and execute complex migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.

Required Skills

- 8-13 years of experience in IT with a focus on end-user computing and enterprise client management.

- Proven experience in Application Packaging (MSI, App-V, IntuneWin, Winget, PowerShell scripting).

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and SCCM.

- Complete knowledge of Microsoft Intune features.

- Ability to assess existing MDM solutions.

- Deep understanding of Windows 10/11 device management, Group Policy, and Intune policies.

- Experience with Microsoft 365 Apps, Office Perpetual versions deployment and policies configuration, and Copilot support.

- Knowledge of Windows as a Service lifecycle and update management.

- Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Compliance Policies, and Security baselines.

- Ability to conduct workshops to solicit business requirements and identify solution components.

- Experience in Automation.

- Strong in documenting Design, Configuration, and Instructions for Administrators for managing and End Users for enrolling devices to and using Microsoft Intune.

- Ability to work with teams in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.

- Strong knowledge of planning and executing a migration project.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

- Strong communication skills, customer interaction, and team leadership.

- MD-102 Certification (preferred).
