Application Manager cum Project Manager

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Application Manager cum Project Manager to manage the end-to-end technical and functional lifecycle of LOS (Loan Origination System), LMS (Loan Management System), and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) platforms.

The role requires strong expertise in application management, API integrations, vendor coordination, and project delivery, along with the ability to bridge business and technology teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

Application & Domain Management :

- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of LOS, LMS, and AML platforms including configuration, upgrades, performance monitoring, and enhancements.

- Oversee functional workflows for loan origination, credit decisioning, disbursement, collections, and AML transaction monitoring.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (RBI, PMLA, FATF) in coordination with Compliance and Risk teams.

- Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for application incidents, change requests, and stakeholder queries.

Project Management :

- Lead IT projects end-to-end using Agile/Waterfall methodologies, including scope, timelines, budgeting, and risk management.

- Prepare and maintain project documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, status reports, and closure reports.

- Coordinate UAT, go-live planning, deployment, and post-implementation reviews with cross-functional teams.

API & Integration Management :

- Manage integrations between LOS/LMS/AML systems and external/internal systems such as core banking, credit bureaus, KYC platforms, and payment gateways.

- Review API specifications and ensure smooth integration using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Troubleshoot integration issues and maintain API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman).

Vendor & Development Coordination :

- Manage vendor relationships, SLA adherence, and governance reviews.

- Support RFP evaluation, contract renewals, and commercial discussions.

- Collaborate with development teams on solution design, SDLC processes, change management, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with LOS/LMS platforms (e.g., FinnOne, Newgen, Temenos, or similar).

- Exposure to AML tools (e.g., Actimize, Oracle FCCM, SAS AML, or equivalent).

- Strong understanding of RESTful/SOAP APIs, API gateways, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Postman.

- Working knowledge of Java/Python/SQL, databases, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

Domain & Soft Skills :

- Strong understanding of lending lifecycle and BFSI domain processes.

- Knowledge of KYC/CKYC and AML regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or IT required.

- PMP / Agile certification is a plus.
