Application Lead - SAP EWM

Description :

- Lead the design, development, configuration, and deployment of SAP EWM solutions

- Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and project teams

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP Functional, Technical, BASIS, and Business teams

- Manage end-to-end implementation, rollout, and support activities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Drive solution optimization and process improvements within warehouse operations

- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation

- Conduct root cause analysis and resolve critical production issues

- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior team members

- Participate in client discussions, requirement gathering, and solution presentations

- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and best practices

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations and support projects

- Good understanding of warehouse management processes including :

a. Inbound & Outbound Processing

b. Putaway & Picking Strategies

c. RF Framework

d. Physical Inventory

e. Slotting & Rearrangement

f. Wave Management

g. Yard Management

h. Handling Unit Management

- Experience in SAP MM, SD, and PP integration with EWM

- Knowledge of SAP WM migration to SAP EWM

- Strong understanding of SAP integration techniques including IDocs, RFC, BAPI, and APIs

- Experience with SAP Fiori applications related to warehouse operations

- Familiarity with master data and transactional data management

- Understanding of automation technologies integrated with EWM

- Experience in incident management, production support, and system enhancements

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Good communication and client-facing skills

- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments

- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology is preferred

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP EWM Certification preferred

- Experience handling global implementation or rollout projects

- Experience in team leadership and mentoring

- Exposure to integration with automation systems and third-party logistics platforms
