Role Overview :

As an Application Developer for Mobile Android, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining high-performance mobile solutions that sit deep within the Android ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to bridge the gap between hardware capabilities and user-facing applications. Your work will directly influence the stability, security, and responsiveness of our mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for our end users and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement complex Android applications by leveraging deep knowledge of the Android Framework to ensure optimal system performance.

- Develop and maintain AIDL interfaces to facilitate seamless inter-process communication between system services and applications.

- Customize and optimize the Android AOSP stack to meet specific hardware requirements and enhance device functionality.

- Integrate CI/CD pipelines into the development workflow to automate testing and deployment, ensuring high code quality and faster release cycles.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level bugs by analyzing Linux kernel logs and framework-level traces to maintain platform stability.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies to align technical deliverables with project timelines and business objectives.

Required Skillset :

- Solid expertise in AOSP, AAOS, Android framework and services.

- Solid expertise in AIDL Interfaces Design and Implementation.

- Good experience in working in Android connectivity eg: WIFI.

- Good knowledge in Hardware abstraction layers in Android and/or Linux.

- Programming using Java/Kotlin, Linux.

- Good understanding of the git, CI/CD workflow.

- Experience in agile based projects.
