Resource Role : Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer who is experienced in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins scripting, and automation, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment. This role requires flexibility to work in rotational or extended shifts based on project requirements.

Mandatory skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience.

- Strong experience with Kubernetes (cluster ops, networking, deployments, Helm, operators).

- Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform and IaC modules.

- Expert-level experience with Jenkins (Pipeline-as-Code, scripted/declarative Jenkinsfiles).

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Bash, Python, or Groovy.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts, Git workflows, DevSecOps, and automation.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker), networking, and security.

- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Cloud Logging).

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in shift-based schedules as required.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

Infrastructure & Platform Engineering :

- Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters (on-premises or cloud-managed like EKS/GKE/AKS).

- Build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure using Terraform (IaC best practices).

- Develop and maintain Helm charts, manifests, and operators for Kubernetes workloads.

- Manage and optimize logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

CI/CD & Automation :

- Create, enhance, and maintain Jenkins pipelines using scripted and declarative approaches.

- Automate build, deployment, and configuration management processes.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines to support microservices architecture and cloud-native workloads.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, improve performance, and enforce best practices.

Scripting & Tools :

- Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Groovy.

- Integrate cloud-native tools and DevOps utilities for process improvements.

- Build automated systems for backup, recovery, scaling, patching, and compliance.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases.

- Participate in on-call rotations or flexible/rotational shifts to support 24/7 operations.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

- Collaborate effectively in a multicultural, distributed team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with ArgoCD, Flux, or GitOps workflows.

- Knowledge of Ansible, Packer, or other automation tools.

- Experience migrating workloads across environments.

- Exposure to Kafka, Redis, or other distributed systems.
