- Design, develop, and maintain API proxies using Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Apigee Hybrid.

- Implement and manage API security policies, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API key validation, and threat protection.

- Collaborate with architects and product teams to design and implement RESTful APIs following industry best practices and design patterns.

- Develop custom Apigee policies using Java, JavaScript, and Python as required.

- Ensure APIs adhere to governance standards, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization guidelines.

- Configure and optimize traffic management, caching, mediation, and rate-limiting policies.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API proxies, authentication, authorization, and performance.

- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate APIs into CI/CD pipelines.

- Provide technical guidance and expertise in API design patterns, security models, and API lifecycle management.

- Document API designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee X, and Apigee Hybrid.

- Expertise in API security including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API key validation and Threat protection

- Proficiency in Java for custom policy development.

- Working knowledge of JavaScript and Python for Apigee extensions and scripting.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.

- Experience with API proxies, traffic management, caching, and mediation policies.

- Familiarity with API design patterns and governance frameworks.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
