We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Analyst to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of software applications through robust automated testing solutions.
The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks while collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software products.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in test automation tools, scripting, and quality assurance best practices and thrives in Agile development environments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
Test Automation & Framework Development :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and API applications.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation and ensure optimal test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Quality Assurance & Testing :
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Execute automated and manual test cases to validate application behavior.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and best practices.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery :
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and
acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Provide timely feedback on quality risks and improvement opportunities.
Defect Management & Reporting :
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools.
- Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Prepare and maintain test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics.
Professional & Technical Skills :
Must-Have Skills :
- Strong experience in QA Automation for web and API testing
- Hands-on expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG
- Proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript for automation scripting
- Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
QA & Testing Skills :
- Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience with test case design, test data management, and test execution
- Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Tools & Technologies :
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail)
Good-to-Have Skills :
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments
- Experience in test automation for microservices-based applications
Education :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
