Android HMI Developer - In-Vehicle Infotainment Systems

We are looking for a highly skilled Android HMI Engineer with strong experience in Android Automotive and In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems to join our engineering team.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Android HMI applications for In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems

- Develop Android Automotive applications using Java/Kotlin and Android Studio (Jetpack mandatory)

- Work on IVI features such as Tuner, Media, Bluetooth, Phone, eCall, Voice Assistant, Projection, etc.

- Implement responsive and intuitive HMI/UI using Android Framework best practices

- Develop and execute unit and integration test cases using JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, PMD

- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

- Participate in production programs and support end-to-end delivery

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

- Ensure adherence to SOLID principles, design patterns, and UML modeling

- Collaborate across the full software development life cycle (SDLC)

Required Experience & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in IVI HMI application development

- 6+ years of experience in Android Automotive or Android application development

- Strong hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin, Android Studio, Jetpack

- Experience with Android HMI build systems

- Good understanding of Android Framework, AOSP architecture, and build tools

- Experience working on at least one production automotive program

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

- Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
