Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain production-grade Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks.

- Architect and implement modular MVVM-based codebases leveraging Android Jetpack components and Jetpack Compose for UI.

- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs, implement offline-first strategies using local persistence (Room) and caching.

- Improve app performance and reliability through profiling, memory optimization, efficient background processing, and crash analytics.

- Write and maintain unit and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release management for Play Store deployments.

- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend teams in an Agile environment; conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Skills & Qualifications :

Must-Have :

- Kotlin.

- Android SDK.

- Jetpack Compose.

- Android Jetpack.

- MVVM.

- Coroutines.

- RESTful APIs.

- Git.

Preferred :

- Espresso.

- Firebase.

- CI/CD.

Additional Qualifications :

- Approximately 6 years of hands-on Android development experience with a strong portfolio of published apps or significant project contributions.

- Willingness to work on-site in Bangalore, India.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is a plus.
