Android Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin (and Java when required).

- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver robust features.

- Drive architectural decisions and contribute to app-wide design patterns and best practices.

- Implement scalable, modular, and maintainable architecture patterns.

- Optimize app performance for smooth operation, memory efficiency, and speed.

- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.

- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and real-time data services.

- Ensure high levels of security, reliability, and app availability.

- Stay updated with the latest Android development tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4.5-7 years of hands-on experience in Android development using Kotlin.

- Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns MVVM, MVP, MVI, Clean Architecture, etc.

- Experience with Jetpack components: ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, etc.

- Knowledge of modularization, dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger), and scalable system design.

- Strong understanding of coroutines, asynchronous programming, and multithreading.

- Experience building apps that consume RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSocket-based services.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Gradle, and Git-based workflows.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.

- Understanding of Google Play Store guidelines and release processes.
