Anaplan Technical Lead

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of Anaplan-based planning solutions, particularly within Supply Chain and Demand Planning environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Anaplan model building, solution architecture, and planning processes, along with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Anaplan models for supply chain and demand planning use cases.

- Translate business requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions aligned with enterprise planning processes.

- Build and optimize complex Anaplan models, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Implement and manage user access controls, workflows, and administration within Anaplan.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders across Demand Planning, Forecasting, and S&OP functions.

- Drive model optimization and performance improvements using advanced Anaplan formulas and best practices.

- Lead and mentor a team of developers while ensuring adherence to Anaplan best practices and governance standards.

- Integrate Anaplan with enterprise systems using data integration tools.

- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Anaplan, including model building in complex planning environments.

- Strong experience implementing Anaplan for Demand Planning or Supply Chain Planning use cases.

- Deep understanding of Anaplan formulas, functions, model optimization techniques, and security/access controls.

- Anaplan Level 3 Certification / Solution Architect certification required.

- Master Anaplanner certification preferred.

- Experience with Anaplan Administration, Polaris, Workflow, and Anaplan Data Orchestrator.

- Strong knowledge of planning processes such as Forecasting, Demand Shaping, and S&OP.

- Experience with data integration tools such as MuleSoft, SnapLogic, or Informatica.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with Agile methodologies or The Anaplan Way framework.

- Industry experience in Consumer Goods, Retail, Manufacturing, or Life Sciences.

- Understanding of forecasting algorithms and KPIs used in supply chain planning.

- Exposure to Polaris architecture within Anaplan.

- Experience with planning applications such as Blue Yonder / JDA Demand & Supply Planning.

- Knowledge of PL/SQL, Python, Unix, Control-M, or batch scripting is an added advantage.
