About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong backend engineering expertise and hands-on exposure to Machine Learning and data-driven systems.

In this role, you will work on building and scaling analytical and ML-powered solutionsowning the full lifecycle from problem definition and data preparation to model integration, deployment, and monitoring in production systems.

This position requires a balance of deep Python engineering skills, an understanding of ML workflows, and the ability to collaborate closely with data science and business teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Contribute to architectural and design discussions for scalable, ML-enabled systems.

- Design, develop, and unit test Python-based features and services.

- Maintain and enhance the Analytical Engine that powers the ATH product.

- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate and deploy ML models into production.

- Build and maintain microservices and APIs for analytical and ML solutions.

- Ensure smooth and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.

- Participate in estimations and ensure on-time delivery of features.

- Conduct peer code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

- Mentor junior team members on coding best practices, design patterns, and ML-aware engineering.

Essential Experience and Skillset For The Role :

- 8+ years of overall programming experience, with at least 5 years building applications in Python.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks such as Django and Flask.

- Experience with message-queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.

- Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python.

- Strong experience with DevOps practices and Continuous Delivery pipelines.

- Sound understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Deep practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

- Good working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.

- Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.

- Practical exposure to machine learning concepts such as regression, classification, clustering, or time-series analysis.
